The authentic Squid Industries Double Barrel V2.1 mod combines exciting updates with the simple but powerful features of the original Double Barrel. Measuring only 3.5 high and about the size of the two 18650 high amp batteries that power it (BATTERY NOT INCLUDED), the Double Barrel has a sleek and compact chassis reinforced by stainless steel, ensuring only the best build quality and durability. Version 2.1 now comes with a new 0.47 top OLED display with indicators for wattage levels, atomizer resistance, and battery life. The Double Barrel now also has a power output from 5 to 150W. The Double Barrel is controlled by a single multi-function, tactile firing button coupled with a surrounding dial for wattage adjustment. The advanced chipset of the Double Barrel V2.1 allows for steady voltage output with Reverse Polarity Protection, Overheat Protection, and Short Circuit Protection. The Double Barrel V2.1 is a no-frills, classic mod for vapers who want a device that takes the most crucial features of a modern regulator mod and does them better than everything else out there.
The mod comes with inflexible battery contact, which will take you a lot of effort to push the batteries in and get the battery door fixed at the same time.

Battery cover is falling out the mod
I like the mod, board is preforming nicely, but the battery cover is a real bad design;
- there is to much tension on this cover, it destrys my battery-covers and it falls off the mod while vaping, the 2 little magnets fell out very quickly too.
If you look on the squid industies website they sell battery covers for this mod and they are of a very different design.
Battery contacts are bigger and they look spring mounted, i dont know why this isnt in my mod.

Great design, terrible execution.
The battery door magnets fell out after the second battery change. This would be a great mod with a better designed door. Look at the website. They offer a replacement door and switch button (mine hasn't fallen off yet).
