Awesome DIY Coil Jig Tool
If you already own a drill, this will be an awesome addition to your Gear collection. It definitely works very well. When I received mine, I gathered a few friends and we did some clapton wrapping. I fully recommend using the included clamp and swivels to hold the loose end of your core wire and keeping the wire tight. Also, if you haven't used one of these devices before, Start out slow when you begin the wrap, this way you can adjust how tight the top nut is that you place on top of the spring that sits on top of your wire coil. Also, Fair warning Not all coil wire holders will fit on the center post. I buy mine From Pure Atomist, fortunately they have a large diameter center hole, but I still had to bore it out with a stepped drill bit that I had picked up the week before and it worked fine. Lightning wire coil discs will not fit they are too small. Check youtube videos for others that fit. Pure Atomist, is a good wire so that little adjustment wasnt a problem for me and the wire is pretty inexpensive as well. about the same as Lightning Wire. Also Step Drill bits aren't very expensive. And if you don't already own a drill, go ahead and get the full kit, I mean another 20 bucks or so and its a good drill for what you need it for.
